Yo cats and kittens of all ages

It’s time for everyone to gather together for the full moon pawty! Tonight, we celebrate the full Beaver Moon! Of course there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentors, Chef Felix, Chef Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Beavers Moons past:

Appetizers: Moon Microbrews; Moontinis; Pumpkin Soup; Cimmamum-spiced Beaver Chews; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar featuring the specialties of Sushi Chef Tux as well as Chef Neko's fabulous Sushi rolls made with Beaver River Fish.

Entrees: Big Moose Chili; Campfire-Roasted Chicken with Catnip Glaze; Grilled Beaver River Rainbow Trout; Grilled Wild Turkey Sausage with Rosemary and Goat Cheese; Michigans (hotdogs) with the Chef's Special Sauce.

Salads: Beaver River Slaw with Maple Sap; Butthead's and Donny's marinated Adirondack Field Greens; Chef Felix's Sweet and Savory Crunchy Crouton Toppers.

Desserts: Maggie's Signature Pumpkin Cheesecake with Maple Syrup; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; Cranberry-Apple Pies à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Surprise Riverbank Dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie.

Newer traditions include Bubba's MouseMousse; Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles; Olive's Shoelaceghetti with a side of pickles; TinySolé's sister Cookie's cod brownies filled with catnip; PussCatDusty's crispy birds feet served on baked catnip wafers (mmmmm, crunchy!) as well as her sweet and sour skink tail vol-au-vents & freeze dried plain yoghurt balls; Chef Felix's Mediterranean platter with crunchy falafel, catmint mewli-tabouli, and smoked papurrika hummouse; Chieflet Luna's Longtail Surprise à la Rosa and Regan. You’ll find Bella’s catinis at the Bella Memorial Tiki Hut.

Come along early and help us catch those Beaver River fish. It's going to be cold, so bundle up warm.

Don’t worry if you’re not feeling up to dancing all night! The Taster Blankets are set up and ready for you to relax on. They're the purrfect place to view the Circle of Remembrance at midnight, when the veil thins and we can purrceive our loved ones who have Gone Ahead partying with us. Olive’s Memorial Blanket can be found here too. Kitchen Liaison Roxi is ready for your feedback for the Krew as well as bringing you whatever food you would like to try.

“Ruby and the Kittens” are ready to entertain you and help you dance the night away. They’ve been practicing new moves since the last pawty – I think they’re getting ready for Christmas! Come and join them on the dance floor and show them your best moves too!

DJ Molly will be playing all your favorite tunes. Let her know what you want to hear – she has a huge collection of all kinds of music to delight everyone.

So head on over and let’s get this pawty started!

Check out our new aprons too – aren’t they fun?

Chef Luna

Where is everybody ?? Josephine doesn't have anyone to dance with (and she's wearing her new red shoes), but my 2 little guys are very busy: this awesome buffet for themselves alone !!! Chef Luna was declared the best of the best !!

This is such a nice and precious event... too bad everybody is not aware of it!! All the ones who lost their precious little sole would, for sure, enjoy the Circle of Remembrance which is always so comforting! Will be there later tonight for my sweet loving Peanut, my one and only little girl Zoé and my beloved Ti-Gris.

Let's hope party will start !! :)

Mel says he will gladly dance with Josephine and he loves her red shoes. He'll even teach her some of the kittens' special new moves.

Thank you guys! There is lots and lots of food - please come back for more as many times as you want. If it stays quiet, there will be lots of food for you to take home afterwards too ~Chef Luna

I agree. These parties helped me so much when I lost my girls. I'm not sure how we raise awareness of them, but I really wish we could.

The moon is so bright in tonight's cold, clear sky kitties. In a few minutes, we'll be gathering round for the Circle of Remembrance where we can see all our precious GAs pawtying alongside us at the Bridge. We will pause our pawty for a short time so we can spend these precious moments with our GAs. Later we will resume the music, dancing and feasting and we will pawty until dawn - I hope you remembered to tell your beans not to wait up for you! But now we must be quiet and gather together for the best view of the whole month. ~Chef Luna

I don't know either but there must be a way! We'll have to think about something.....:) This is such a really special event!
Human full moon celebration and remembrance? I make mean Grand Marnier brownies with most of the Grand Marnier in the icing so it does not burn off.

Thinking of Rover tonight. And Hoss from up the street. And all the ones we've lost.
