It's here! The Full Beaver Moon! fll_moon Tonight we party at Beaver Camp on the Beaver River in the Adirondack Mountains. The weather is mild (Indian Summer) and we will dance, sing our moon songs, howl at the moon, and eat our feast. All invited. Kitchen Krew will need reinforcements tonight because we have to bring all our grills and stoves along. Special event: an excursion to a beaver lodge on the river. The beavers have invited us to try "Beaver Chews". Get ready to roll. Tess will pick you up in the LL kitty bus. Maui, if you bring the jet, attach the pontoons so you can land on the river.

Appetizers: Moon Micro Brews; Moontinis; Pumpkin Soup; Cimmamum-spiced Beaver Chews (Alder Branches); Assorted Paw Prints' Pizzas; Sushi and Sushini made with Beaver River Fish and Bog Clams.
Entrees: Venison Chili; Roasted Chicken with Catnip Glaze; Grilled Fresh-caught Beaver River Rainbow Trout (you catch 'em, we grill 'em); Grilled Wild Turkey Sausage with Rosemary and Goat Cheese; Chef Mannie's renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo.
Salads: Marinated Riverbank Field Greens a la Butthead and Donny; Beaver River Slaw with Maple Sap dressing.
Desserts: Apple Pie; Pumpkin Cake; Tobey's Cimmamum Cookies; LL Chief Pastry Chef Tess's Surprise Dessert; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
 
Ohhhhh, I am so excited! I can hardly wait! My mouth is watering and I am ready to dance and howl the night away! Mom said I can even have moontini's tonight because I have been an extra good kitty. I hope Tess has lotsa room for my grill. It is super size, big big!
 
Woooooo, I's so excited about the Full Moon Party tonight, some of my most fav fuds are on the menu. I can't waits to visit the Beaver Lodge, I always wonder what they do in there. I's gonna bring my sister Tillie, she's not been feeling so gute lately and I's think the dancing and the drinkin' will cheer her up. I's bringing my picnic table for us to dance on. All loaded up and almost there, Rusty! Oh, looks like we won't need the SnowCat tracks. For my special dessert I'm making Coconut Beaver Lodge Souffles, surrounded by a pond of Butter Rum Sauce! Yummy!

Z! I gots lots of fresh laundered fleeces for Tillie to snuggle in. She will love the party! -- Tess
 
I think I got all my sushi knives sharpened and ready to go. I hear they might have rainbow trout in there - makes great sashimi! I'll pack a thermos of tuna toddies for the bus ride. See you soon. ~Neko
 
Rusty! Elsa, checking on from Mannie's treehouse: We are all ready here. Everything is locked and loaded and set to be packed on the LL kitty bus. I've been very busy this morning, We have fresh salmon migrating up our creek, so I got us lots! They are as fresh as fresh can be. They should do Mannie's recipe proud. Lola and Bug helped too. Pizzas are all prepped too. The Beaver Lodge will be the bestest ever! heeheehee - can we dance on Zener's picninc table when it is on top of the bus? That would be mega cool. Hey Rusty!

Did I make it on time! I got lost flying the jet! The auto pilot was not working and my co-pilot ditched me to ride in the party bus! I so hope I made it on time! I landed in the lake and didn't get wet - yippee! Now, if only I can remember just where I parked the silly jet.
