    Hi,
Does anybody know if a cat needs to fast before a Fruct test? My friend (at my urging) is taking her cat in this week to be tested. Cat has voracious appetite but has been losing weight and her husband says the litterbox is fuller than usual. She wanted to know if the cat would have to fast before the test and I wasn't sure.

    Thanks much!

No, not necessary to fast, as the test measures the BG's average over the course of 2-4 weeks.
