Any one have experience using Frontline. I've never had a problem with fleas over the past 20 years of having cats. They never go outside, so I'm sure that helped. My vet found flea dust on Dottie and I actually saw a flea on my bathroom counter. Sigh...not sure how they got in the house. No dogs here. My vet sold me some Frontline and some spray for the carpet. Today, I cleaned the carpet in the bedrooms and washed the cat beds. I'm going to wash all my blankets again, I usually do that weekly along with our bed sheets. I'll vacuum the living room again, if I have time I'll clean the carpet. I really, really do not want to spray chemicals!

Yep Frontline is safe to use. Fleas can get in a lot of different ways, if you visited someone with a cat or dog that had them some could have hitchhiked on your clothing or even come in from the yard from a passing dog or cat the same way.

I hope it is safe, too! :) Last week I brought home a new cat (about 5 yrs old) from a county animal control, owner surrendered, he is absolutely beautiful but he was COVERED in fleas!!! I took him immediately to the vet who treated him with Capstar, which kills the living fleas within 10-20 minutes (and it really did work that fast!), and then they also put Frontline on him as well, to kill the eggs and larvae that will hatch later. I haven't seen a flea on him since then, and he hasn't been scratching at all. So it's good to hear another owner has used it for years with no problems! Good luck with your flea issues!
