Frequent Urination

Casanova has been a diabetic for about 5 years now. He is on Lantus and has been doing okay. In the last week I've noticed that his drinking and urination have both increased. I do self test at home and his numbers aren't changing much at all. Is this a sign that something is going on with his kidneys? Any suggestions?

More information needed. What dose? What kind of numbers are you seeing at pre shots and at nadir?

When was his last blood panel? if its not diabetes related it could be kidneys or it could be hyper T.. which also cause frequent urination. Depending on his numbers, diabetics have more sugar in their urine (if not regulated) and are more prone to Urinary Tract Infections so a u/a with a culture and sensitivity might be in order.
