Hello all!!

Is Stella and Chewys freeze dried food low enough in carbs to serve as meals? Benny will sometimes eat his tiki cat - succulent chicken and other days completely turn his nose. He is OBSESSED with his freeze fried treats and I was wanting to give him more variety since he has hated every other canned food. Thank you in advance!!!!

most are yes, if you mean the freeze-dried RAW like Tummy Ticklin' Turkey, Chic Chic Chicken, etc

I believe they are around 2-5% calories from carbs from what I could find out when I looked into it.

I have read that the freeze-dried raw has a good bit of ground bone in it, which while it is great for younger cats, just be wary of overdoing it for a older cat. Too much phosphorus, I believe.

Thank you SO much!!! Yes! I was looking at the Tummy Ticklin' Turkey! He is 2.5 years old. I will definitely look into that. I don't want him to exclusively eat it but here and there to give him some variety so he doesn't get so bored as he is seeming. Thank you thank you thank you! I really appreciate you!

I find the Turkery one is super popular with the kits. We re-hydrate and mix with canned food, serve stand alone, or crush up and sprinkle dry on top of food sometimes -- particularly if I'm trying to encourage a few extra bites, like at shot time

You can crumble up the Stella & Chewy's and use it at a "topper" if your kitty is being finicky. My guys like the Duck, Duck, Goose and the Rabbit.
