Freeze dried food. How much??

So my remission kitty is obsessed with freeze dried salmon and chicken treats. Primal was a complete miss so I got stella and chewys chicken recipe and he ate 5 nuggets like they were nothing. I'm seriously shocked he likes them. It wont be in my budget to have him strictly on this but would be nice to get the carbs down a bit from his favorite orijen kibble.

In your experience do cats usually eat raw until they're full? I've read it's much more filling and they need less but stella and chewys said for his weight of 9 lbs he needs almost a cup per day?!

I looked at my bag of S&C dry raw Turkey morsels. It said for 8 lb cat reed 1/2 daily. I have feed raw and freeze dy reconstituted raws and my experience is that they will eat more depending upon the cat. Note that the morsels/nuggets do not pack well so there is really a lot of air in 1/2 cup of them.

Be careful because they're so dry and have no moisture freeze dried treats would clog up Dusty.

Pure bites may be more affordable--I put them in the vita mix so he doesn't puke them--I leave it out for him all the time is virtually 0 carbs
