? Freestyle Lite test strip question- where to buy?

Hi! Where do the Freestyle Lite users buy your test strips at good prices?

I recently switched from AlphaTrak 2 to Freestyle Lite.

I did this because the AT2 test strip price was killing me, and the FL uses very little blood just like the AT2, which is good for us to avoid multiple poles...then I saw on here that a human meter is highly suggested.

The FL strips off the shelf are even more expensive than the AT2, so it was suggested I buy them off Amazon.

I have been and while I think they’re reading fine (sometimes one doesn’t suck up a lot of blood), I noticed the product is repackaged from overseas ... and now I’m concerned maybe they’re not reading correctly and/or the product is fraudulent. I still have the AT2 but I know I can’t compare the readings ...

So where do y’all FL users get your strips? I’ll switch to Relion if I need to but really don’t want a third meter, LOL!
 
I also switched to the FL from AlphaTrak but I ran into the same issue as you. The cheapest I found was Amazon but they were still pretty pricey, and then the issue you mentioned about being repackaged. Maybe try eBay?

I eventually just decided to switch to the ReliOn prime. The strips are SO much cheaper and easier to get. It does technically require more blood, but honestly 0.2 microliters is almost a negligible amount. I rarely have issues getting enough blood

Yea I may look at eBay. But I’m thinking if maybe just sucking it up and going Relion. Hubs will think I’m crazy buying a third meter but I want results to be accurate and not worry about inauthentic products.
 
I don’t use freestyle lite but I have ordered my OneTouch strips and lancets from this website and it looks like they have freestyle lite. Not sure how it compares to amazon but it was the best prices I found for my supplies. They are discounted because of minimally damaged packaging but the contents are guaranteed to be fine and mine were.

At least you can run to Walmart and just pick them up.
I have even ordered them online and got them in about 3-4 days

Relion meter 9 dollars
17.88 for 100 test strips
I still use either 26 or 28 gauge lancets

Well heck - I think I may just get the Relion and not worry about it at all! I’ll still use the lancet device from the AT - I like the clear tip so i can see where we are poking :-)
