My vet is being a jerkface. I have been sending her Fred's SS and I asked if he should come in for a check up since he's on OTJ trial but she hasn't replied. The last time I talked to her was when Fred had the pancreatitis attack and she sent him home with me after one night in the hospital because according to her , he was unmanageable, which turned out to be a blessing because I believe he got better care at home. But there's no excuse for snubbing me.
Time to find a new vet, for sure.

No way I'd be spending money on a vet right now either (especially a jerkface vet!). When I had to lose a jerkface vet and find a newie I rang all the vet offices within about a 10km radius and 'interviewed'. I let them know I would need someone that was able to manage a difficult cat and that was happy for me to be a part of the decision making instead of blindly doing as they said and weighed up the facilities available including opening hours and a 24 hour presence at the surgery. It worked out very well doing it that way and I found a keeper.
