Still lookin good. Still thinking skipping the .5 dose in the AM is best, since I'm gone at work most of the day and can't risk him diving too low. Seems the .5 in the PM is ok with him. Y'all have a good one!

Rather than just giving insulin once a day, maybe you could try .25U tonight, and see if it's enough of a decrease so you can give insulin twice a day. Fred is looking great! :D

I actually thought of that, too, but I thought, man that's not much insulin. I'm loving this color on him. He's improved so much since the p-titis attack.

Amy's Trixie went OTJ after pancreatitis. It's sure a strange disease. Keep the green on Fred. :):D Fwiw I'd try the .25 like Wendy has suggested.

ECID, and you know Fred best. I wouldn't recommend doing the one shot, but I know vets that would, so who can say for sure? It's early in the experiment yet. Maybe Fred was getting too much insulin. Paws crossed this works out for you both! :D

Man it's so difficult to do .25 on my syringe. I have to eyeball it. But we're gonna do .25 2 x day and see how he does. Thanks y'all.

It will be a lot easier with digital calipers. I got mine from Harbor Freight. You could also make a cardboard one. I think the calipers were only about $15.
