Sarah - I am an old Prozincer just catching up - I read this thread and I wanted to tell you how sorry I am that you lost Frankie. Sounds like one much loved kitty. We all know the terrible pain of losing them. I hope you are feeling a bit better by now, and that Hazel (OMG how adorable is she)!! is hellping ease your pain by now :bighug::bighug:

I miss worrying about Frank's sugar, doin tests, making sure I'm home when Ineed to be, just caring for him in general. Today's been a hard day. I haven't cried this much in over a week. This isn't fair.
I just feel like my heart breaks over and over again. I miss my little jerk.
so sorry

Looking through posts here and realizing I don't know very many people on this board anymore from when I started back in March.
Still missing my Frank. A lot. Haven't gotten Hazel yet...she was slow to reach the required weight for spay, and then when she did reach it she got ringworm. So...we're waiting on that to clear up before surgery. In the meantime, I'm fostering a momma rabbit and her 4 babies for my local APL. I've had them for 12 days....since the morning the babies were born. They are all kinds of cute and cuddly.
Hope you're all doing well! I miss having diabetes related things to post about.

She's adorable!! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I know you miss your boy a lot but this little sweetie will be a wonderful distraction. I can't believe how young these little ones are spayed now.
They've found with dogs that there are health consequences in spaying early. The theory is that removal of the sex organs prevents certain cues for development that are needed for bones to develop fully. Hip dysplasia is more pronounced in dogs that are neutered early, earlier.
Huh. I was late getting Java neutered, I wonder if that made a difference in his 20 and a half years.

It's tough, Sarah! I know how much you miss Frank. It'll get better over time, but that doesn't help much right now, I know.

Those baby rabbits are absolutely adorable!!!

There are many new people here. Please feel free to come by WHENEVER you want, though! We love having "old" folks here and we love catching up and hearing how people are doing!

Hazel is adorable!!!! She's not Frank and I know that makes it hard some days...but she's Hazel and she'll find her place in her new world and one day you'll feel like she's always been there. :bighug:

She is very cute! And we all know a new fur baby doesn't replace the previous but there's room in your heart for more love :bighug:.
