Foxie and Lilliana

I'm sorry for your poor kitty,my Foxie is not doing well either.
I'm beginning to think that I'm just pretending that she is better and the reality is that her life is horrible.
Always thirsty and hungry and dirty,she is peeing on the floor again.
If she could talk I bet she will tell me she has had enough .

Many of us have been frustrated with the initial management of the diabetes. It take persistence and work to make progress.
What food are you feeding? Higher carb wet and dry foods will just keep the glucose high.
What insulin are you giving? The wrong one for your cat won't do a good job of control.
How are you testing her glucose levels - symptoms, urine glucose, or blood glucose? Urine or blood ketone testing?

I follow my vet ,he is quite good.
Right food,right medicine twice a day,He thinks she is doing better.
She gain almost 2 pounds,her coat looks better,but I know my cat,Every time I give her a shot she cries.
And I know how to do it.This is not about me this is about her.I know you will understandIm not doing anything now I'm thinking .I know when the time is right.
I really like to read and write to all of you .

One more thing,I know it takes time and patience and I'm not looking for a quick fix,the don't exist .
I'm just looking at the quality of the life of my glorious cat.She is with us 15 years ,great 15 years.
And I don't believe for one minute that she is happy,and I'm going to poke her and take a endless blood work,and vet
Visit,and all this for what.
I'm very sad today but also very clear about all this

I know you know your cat best, but the end is not always near. Our cat cries when I poke her too, but then she gets some turkey and it's better. I think if you have more options, you should check them out. Things can get easier.

I'm still doing that,but I'm realistic person,and don't believe in unrealistic expectations.
She is not a happy cat and I know that,I will explore few more options and see,but will not permit any suffering.
I love her and do what is best for her and not for me.
