OK, the vet sold me some of this last week when Dallas had is "pudding poop." Tomorrow is his last day for the antibiotic, but I have still been giving both of them the Fortiflora (they share food, so it's unavoidable). Is this a binding agent? Because Cedric already has a little trouble pooping; Dallas does not but I haven't been seeing the "sausages" I usually see from him. Sorry about the rough talk - in a rush as I am supposed to be working...

Thanks for your thoughts on this product.

I don't think so. It is a probiotic to replace the good bacteria in the gut. Minou, my civie with constipating IBD, has been on it for almost two years. She is worse when I run out of it.
 
Sometimes when the GI system is correcting itself from diarrhea, you'll see it go in the other direction for a few days, but it should right itself out again. The Fortiflora itself does not cause constipation, but rather the GI system overcompensating to correct the problem.
