I've never used it, but I know it's basically a probiotic that is supposed to be highly palatable. My understanding is that it uses the same flavorings that the dry foods (that our cats love so much!) use to flavor their products.

China LOVES it!! It comes in packets and is a very fine powder....a little sprinkle is usually enough to get her to eat when she's not really approving whatever is on the menu

It's the same stuff they spray on the outside of kibble to make it so irresistible to our kitties

Sushi hated it... I have 29 very expensive packets laying around the kitchen counter... Lol... Don't get too excited!

I hope your cat is normal though and loves it!
LOL!

I haven't actually tasted it myself, but to me the smell is very beefy - similar to how a dried beef bouillon cube smells. Ha, now tonight I am going to have to stick my finger in it and taste it

My 6 cats don't seem to care about it one way or the other. They don't seem to love it, but they don't hate it either. So we only use it for its probiotic qualities when needed, not as a food enticement like some people do.

Lol, please let us know if it passes the finger taste test! :D

Please... I would really like to know how it tastes!!! You are brave!!! :woot:

I use it a few times a week with my one cat. He can be a fussy eater and all I have to do is sprinkle a little of it on his food and he gobbles it right up. Now my other cat won't touch it at all.

I hope if you taste it, you won't start preening yourself, LOL ;):p:cat:

Oren has been getting it daily for the last several months, for the probiotic qualities when he was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. His appetite has actually never faltered, even w/ that diagnosis. So, I can't say if it would be an appetite stimulant to him. But, e seems to love it. I will say also when he was recently on a 10 day course of clavamox antibiotic, and under sedation twice, he hasn't suffered any gastric upset other than a single mild episode of loose stool.
