Does anyone have issues with fortiflora causing stool runs? Just started Phoebe on it for eating her food. She has pooped 5x today. 4 yesterday. Only 2 were runny but holy moly. Will it level off?

Is she having a p-flare? I was reading somewhere :bookworm:, possibly on here back when Maury was having his first flare, about not giving FortiFlora during that time.

It's hard to tell when she having flare up or not. I think it's getting close to the time. I'm heart broken today.

Forti flora does not always agree with all kitties. I tried it with Tuxie as an appetite enhancer, but it made his pancreatitis worse. When I had tried it with Maxie a few times she threw up after eating it. The animal digest in it can be hard on the system with some kitties.

I did notice a little looser stools with Leo if I gave him the Forti Flora too often with his food. It's hard to tell though when a kitty has other problems and you don't really know what's causing what. I have kept the forti flora at a minimum now and only give it to him on his food that has his med in it to cover up the bitter taste. It works great for covering up yucky tastes. It's a fine balance when you have a cat that is already prone to runny poos like my guy. I had to do an elimination process between the forti flora, pumpkin puree, and one of his meds to see what was causing what. I get very frustrated trying to figure it all out.
I'm so sorry Phoebe is not doing well. We try so hard to make them feel better and we do what we can to help them. It truly is heartbreaking sometimes.
