I did it again, but this time I didn't discover it for about 6 hours! Is it still okay to give to Squallie?!?! My vet isn't open today so I don't know if I can even get another bottle :-( . I don't want to do anything that might be dangerous to my sweet boy!

It should be fine. Many of us have done that. It may wimp out slightly sooner.

Oh, thank you for getting back to me so quickly with reassurances! I was very worried, I left it out once before but only for about an hour.

If you've got a glass vial, wrap it in some stretch wrap. Lots of us have dropped the insulin vial and had it shatter, too!

(((Lucy))), chances are that the insulin is just fine.

As BJ said, it may wimp out a bit sooner than it would have done otherwise.
Does it look 'normal'? Any little 'floaties' in the insulin?

In the unlikely event that the insulin has become damaged you will probably see that reflected in Squallie's numbers. But hopefully his numbers over the coming days will only serve to reassure you that all is well. :bighug:

It looks normal to me. If I see little floatie bits should I not give it to him?
