-Obviously some clinics will be keeping holiday hours until New Year's day but one thing that burns my bum is that our nearest emergency clinic, emergency to me means 24/7/365, was bought out by VCA and still markets themselves as emergency even though they close at 6PM. That's not inconvenient, it's unethical. Call first!
-The 911 in your thread title. It's under the arrow next to "(no prefix)" and it's better to embarrass yourself over a non emergency then be forever sorry you didn't. When you're done please remember to undo the 911.
-If you're not in a North American time zone replies may take longer. Post emergencies in Feline Health before anywhere else. Moderators can lock the thread after the emergency is over.
-Getting to a clinic. The big storm never hit here but our car is a block of ice. My wife hates night driving so we keep cab company phone numbers on the fridge along with maps and driving instructions to clinics. Some cab drivers either hate cats or get complaints about allergies so get the cat in last and tip well.
-There are just too many "how to induce a cat to vomit", "when it's better not to induce vomiting" and poisonous plant sites. Our cats ignore the tree but some do not, use some common sense. Yes cats can eat turkey but everything else on the table is a big NO.
Have a safe and merry Christmas

My "Emergency 24/7" rant has a valid point. On a Sunday morning I did triple the speed limit and even turned left on a red light to get Simon to the doctor. He died on the lobby floor while I hunted down the receptionist or just anyone who could have helped. Imagine that happening in a human hospital.
