Oh God !Yes this needed to be done

Corky's & Coco's Daily intake by alternate flavors daily

Chopped Grill Feast Pate/Fish & Shrimp Flakes/Savory Salmon Feast Pate/Tuna Feast Pate/Seafood Feast Pate/Chopped Grill Feast Pate/Ocean Whitefish & Tuna Feast Pate.
For snack I give ham 2% Carbs in the morning as breakfast,
and afternoon, FF Savory Cravings like a chocolate bar, in little squares, different flavors, from those they do eat the beef flavor and chicken, under 5% carbs

Suzanne has the list, I PM her last night with it any input on the food please inform me
:bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

Thanks for the list, Maria.
What we want to do is compare numbers to what is fed when.
Please you put what you feed and how much each time in the remarks column of the spreadsheet. I realize this is more work for you but it will give a fuller picture of what Corky is doing.

This is a lot of fish. I do not feed much fish to my cats as a general rule because of potential Mercury contamination as well as other contaminants. I could link you an article, but it’s very alarming. Fish is very addicting to cats as well. Often, it’s hard to get them off of it.

I feel the same, Corky east just about anything, Coco loves the Medley Primavera light sauce but it has lots of Carbs, sometimes not always I just put about 1/4 tsp( I have those spoon measurement in their daily care) I will just feed her separately more beef and chicken slowly transitioning until she gets use to feed the same as Corky. I agree
with you 100 % the food selection needs to change, I can also put a few tuna flake pieces in the food to camouflage the flavor, I will figure it out starting PMPS meal, I just tested +9 he's at 275 so so random

I am going outside to see if I get a glimpse of the Eclipse @ 3:15 there won't be much is all to be seen in Dallas across mid States, I guess I'll really see it on line:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

I thought the eclipse was tomorrow April 8

I'm on the outskirts of the path (90-95%) of the eclipse. I won't be looking up. What's more interesting to me is the colour of the strange twilight and how all of nature goes silent and still.

Responding to a PM. (Maria, I don't give advice through PMs.
Corky is very low or might be lower to shoot @ PMPS. Can I always shoot during 1/2 of feeding. Is it appropriate to wait longer or give Carbs with meal?

Corky is NOT low and he's coming up on his own (unless you fed something).

On the 21st of March, you shot a 124 and Corky is already above that now.
At shot time, test then feed low carb only. There is no need for higher carbs. Please don't panic.

Gotcha, I'll just prepare myself for about 10:15 pm that the insulin kicks in by 9-9:30, I'll have to check hourly to be safe. If you are available and I need you I'll haller!

Yes. Corky has come up from the 99 to 127. Unless something really weird happens you should be good to test, feed his regular LC and shoot .75 units. It should be a good cycle tonight.

And since your shot time is 6 p.m. the insulin will kick in by 8 p.m. but yes, by 10 p.m. he should be a little lower. And by midnight he should be around nadir (unless he gets weird on is and jumps up for some reason.)

Looks like Corky had a yellow at 8 p.m. +2. I doubt if there will be anything to worry about at ten p.m., but post here if you have any concerns. I’m around.

Okay 189. He’s in good shape. I have no idea why he’s still higher than PMPS if he’s had only his low carb food tonight. But the main thing is he’s in blue and he’s safe. No fireworks or worries for Corky tonight.

Red suggested that I post in the he remarks everything he eats every day all day to see what could be keeping he’s nadies higher than usual OMG! I just used that word wow! I’m growing here!!

Yep. It will be helpful to you and to us if you write in which food and how much you give him and put in each time - when he eats it. We will then know how each food affects him.

Nice cycle so far, Maria. Corky is very safe.
Low carb only.
Yes indeed, thanks, I was on my way to the Physical therapist when I tested before leaving at +4, so as you see I haven't left yet, I am waiting for the +6 to make sure he has at least increases over 100+, I do not feel comfortable with two greens in a row, to leave the house.
I wanted to discuss with you about Corky's poop, lately he has been going not too soft but not how it should be, you know the long circular poop as described in the forum about constipation, it's small kinda soft falls like a cookie, very smelly, I have not given any Laxative, since Friday, could this be anything wrong??

How long will you be gone? I would suggest leaving out some low carb with 1/2 tsp high carb.
NO KARO AT THIS POINT.

I know very little about feline constipation.
https://felineconstipation.org/ is your best bet.

I need to be here to give him the food otherwise Coco will eat if left, I will do as you say now and then test again 1/2 hour after he eats so @ +7 I will post and go from there, if it increases, then I'll leave. thanks

Feed some more low carb and off you go.

When the high carbs start to wear off, he should be going up on his own. Nice green surf today.

I count on you and Suzanne and I have faith you guys give me hope and a good feeling I AM taking care of Corky right, Thanks , on my way out, as soon as I get bak I will post his next BG:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::cat::cat:

I guess you don’t test and shoot at 6 o’clock since your SS is already filled in and it’s only 5:40?
I tested @ 5:40 fed 6:00PM and shot, I didn't realize that my wall clock, ran out of batteries thank you by you and my phone just noticed the difference, he's doing so great today I don't want to look at the SS for too long and jinks it:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:;):cat::cat::joyful:
