Hi New member 3/13/24

My 17 year old girl was just diagnosed with diabetes. Luckily it was caught early. What I’m wondering is if the Fancy Feast in Canada is the pate form? And what flavors are ok to feed her.

I never fed the Fancy Feast, but I think the pates are OK. Try to avoid giving too much fish. I know, hard to do with Fancy Feast as they seem to be putting fish in almost all the Canadian produced cans now.

A lot of the foods in this food list are available in Canada. Look for something under 10% carbs. And a slightly outdated list shows some other Canadian options. CANADIAN Food Chart

Thank you very much Wendy!! I’m feeding her the ProPlan MO vet food right now but it’s all those weird chunks so I’d like to feed her more of a pate in addition to the other food. The charts are very helpful. Much appreciated!
