Hi! I’m mixing my kitty’s wet rx food with FF classic recipes. Is this ok? Thanks!!

Sweet photo! Is the rx food Glycobalance? If so, it is 14% carbs per the cat food database. The FF ones are 2 and 3 %. So, mixing them should mean she is getting less carbs than she would be if she was just eating the rx alone. Why are you mixing them rather than just dropping the rx one?

Thanks for the quick response. And yes, it’s the Glycobalance from royal Caninn and out of sheer paranoia. I’m very new to this and am scared to death to ever see her in a hypoglycemic state.

I will probably stop the rx food when it’s gone. IF it’s ok to do so without compromising her BG levels...
