Does anyone have recommendations on a softer/liquidy food safe for diabetic cats? My cat has barely eaten the past few days and took her to the vet, all of the bloodwork, urine, fructose, pancreas, etc tests turned up fine and they suspect it may be her teeth - but still waiting on some results to come back related to platelets. In the meantime (results can take up to a week), does anyone have recommendations for a softer/liquid food? She currently eats Chicken Sheba Pate (it was the only thing she would eat that was remotely diabetic safe) but has been eating 1/4 of it and mostly licking it rather than chewing.

if you are in the US below is a Drs food list you can look over the third column will have the % of carbs, diabetic cats need a diet between 0-10% carb, Fancy Feast Pates are very very soft, and you can add water to make it softer, and has a wide selection of flavors and no waste goes in the food, it USA made so is regulated :bighug::cat::cat:

TikiCat Mousse line, and possibly some other have soft creamy type foods. On a short term basis only, you can give all meat babyfood (no onions or garlic). It isn't a complete meal so not a longer term solution. When my cat had mouth issues, I used to mix her regular food with a little water and used a immersion blender to make it mousse like. I bought Neko her own blender.
