I just tossed it, pee soaked into the foam and I don't see ever getting that smell out. We "made" a bed with a box, a pillow with a waterproof cover, some pee pads and some blankets

Decided holding off on giving her a bump for a couple of days because. We've made a few changes.

1) Have her isolated in the master bath and we're letting her out during supervised time. So far no unusual accidents in there.
2.) Removed her dry food and we're feeding only wet food.
3.) Since she's isolated I am not using the sure feed microchip feeders, and just using regular bowls.

Her glucose seems to have come down to the 300s from the 400s some, but obviously it's still high. And it's also only been like a day, so I want to give it a few days to see if it remains decreased.

I've never counted her calorie intake before, but I'm concerned it's a little low. Of course I don't know what her baseline is. But she's eating around 150-200 calories a day of wet food. She's about 10.3lbs, she used to be 12. I'd say she was a bit pudgy at 12, but not obese. It looks like in theory she should be eating closer to 300 calories?

I'm mostly concerned about her personality right now. She definitely has little energy other than lay down, go to the bathroom, or eat. I have the door open and she's choosing instead to lay in her cat bed, in the bathroom. Watching her walk I would also say she definitely has a little weakness in her legs, I assume some neuropathy. Is this common with high blood sugar? For them to feel kind of lousy? Or is there maybe something else going on too?

If she has neuropathy then yes it's due to her high BG numbers and probably making her feel lousy.
Is she sort of walking like a rabbit ,like flat footed with her back legs, maybe sliding when she is walking say on wood floors . There is something you can give for neuropathy which would help but first you need to get her regulated, If you are interested I can tell you
I'm no expert when it comes to dosing but I agree with Ale I would increase to 1.75 units
Going to tag a few members about whether or not to increase since you said you have removed all the Dr Elsey's kibble ,how long ago was that
You need to monitor closely since you removed the dry ,cats can drop 100 points
If you don't plan in feeding any more kibble I would note when you stopped that in your signature or remove it completely

If she’s 10 pounds, 200 calories a day is fine. You’d be feeding her 300 if she were 15 pounds.

you don’t want to stay on a dose for too long and you’re still getting pretty high numbers even for her nadir. I’d recommend you increase to 1.75 now. The sooner she gets regulated, the sooner she’ll start to feel better

Minnie was the same but once they get regulated, they start to feel better and act like themselves again
