Since switching to Friskies Pate I think it's clear that my cat prefers the seafood varieties, especially the salmon. Is it okay to feed him only those certain flavors, or is it necessary to try and make him eat the chicken and turkey flavors too?

Cats aren't supposed to get fish every day. Add other non fish flavors in.

That's what I thought, but they really only have two non fish flavors and he won't eat the Chicken even though he likes chicken when we have it for dinner, even whines for it.

Also, if he's eating more than one can a day should it all be the same flavor it can they be different throughout the day?

You can switch it up. I often even mix flavors in a meal since I have multiple cats and open multiple cans.

If you have not seen it yet, here is a thread about fish. I give my girls a couple of different kinds of food throughout the day, but they are both chicken (one is allergic to turkey). I usually reserve the fish for an occasional treat. Maybe there is another brand of chicken or turkey that he would like?
