I guess my cats are on a horrible food regimen. They eat about 6 times a day. I fed them before I left at 7pm but they weren't really hungry. I got home just at 9pm (2 hours before shot time for Tidus) and they were all STARVING! No way they would wait 2 more hours. Tidus stopped eating about 9:20. So my question/issue is at what time can I shoot (an increased dose of 1u) Can I shoot at 11:20? That would be 20 minutes past normal time.

What is the reason they can't eat 2 hours prior to shot?

The rationale is that a meal close to shot time may inflate your pre-shot numbers. Depending on where Tidus' numbers are and whether you will test during the PM cycle (probably getting at least a +2), it would be OK to shoot on time. 20 min. shouldn't make that big of a difference unless you know if you have a dropping number at PMPS.
