We have had 2 syringes with fluid in them - brand new just out of the bag. What is this? Should these syringes be used?

I would not use them. I can't imagine why or what fluid would be in them, but for safety's sake I wouldn't use them.

Definitely do not use them. They are no longer sterile and there should never be anything in a new syringe. I would report this to the manufacturer as well as the place you purchased them from.

syringes have a small amount of lubricant in them to help the plunger "slide" easier

thanks - still glad they weren't used. even a few drops change the insulin dose on a sensitive cat.
