Fluffy numbers

He seems to be holding his own. I think I am going to wait till next week to do his curve because his ears are so red. I have been putting on the neosporin after his blood is drawn. He is acting much better.

I think that is okay, Rose, as long as you get a pre shot number am and pm and a mid cycle number daily. It doesn't have to be at a specific time if it won't fit into your schedule - somewhere around +4 to -+6 or so.

I know how you feel. I just hate the bruisy ears! As long as you get your preshot numbers and one or two mid-cycles when you can I agree that that's totally fine. If his ears are bleeding easier you may want to try dropping back a setting on your lancet. That might help, too.

gosh rose i do know how you feel, but something is cooking with fluffy. that amps of 157 did'nt come out of nowhere..especially following that red number. and yesterday he seemed to have brought himself down right at pre-shot.
i would test a mid cycle if you get a high number becuase if could be a mid cycle low number bounce...and we would REALLY love to know that is what it is, rather than just a high number.
all of you folks watching this kitty, if you look at the ss does it appear to you that mr. fluffy has some action going on. and if so could'nt at least one mid cycle test be a prudent way to go?

Rose,
I don't know if anyone has suggested that you put pressure on his ear for about 30 - 60 seconds after you get blood. Helps stop bruising.
