since every1 here is so knowledgeable, i wanted to ask what do u use on the pet for fleas?
i prefer advantage, works well but multiplied times 7 is a little costly.
what do u know of that is safe, affordable and reliable?
hoping to find a good solution :) :)
thanks

Not many fleas in Colorado so can't help there. But good dose for amps this morning. And I like it better than the red one yesterday!

ty sue. its only an issue in hot summer months here, and only the dog goes out. shes the lil culprit who can transfer :) but i have to treat them all. havent had a terrible problem, its just, it only takes ONE lil flea to give the cat tapes. then u have that issue. :YMSIGH: throwing up my hands...

and ty again sue. i am vry pleased with his fuchia numbers (for the high marks) with all things considered, that seems decent.

Advantage II has something to slow the growth of the eggs and larvae.

CapStar is good for knocking out adult fleas when you suddenly become overrun. The dog sized tablet can be broken into quarters to save money (it has a very high safety profile). It would be needed daily if the OTC stuff isn't working, at which point getting the Rx stuff is more economical.

Outside, use diatomaceous earth anywhere you don't want any insects nor earthworms (kills them too).
