Happy Furiday :)

Fistuk has been mostly well. He hasn't peed again outside the box. He does still have the URI. The last try, Engystrol didn't yield results.

Luckily the sun is our again and that always helps Fistuk.

I'm still with the dose question. When I last posted on 7/3 Fistuk dropped to 59 @+6.75 but since he's like a yoyo.

We're leaving on Monday late morning for a week. Shall I just keep the dose like this and revisit it when I'm back?

Wow, what a drop right before his shot! :nailbiting: So nice you are going on a holiday and so good there is someone staying with Fistuk! I hope I find people like that as well one day. I miss being away from home so much. I hope Fistuk recovers well from the URI and he can enjoy his days in the sun! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm using the PDF measurement that @cecile & bella once shared so I'm less worried about the measuring but I will be concerned abuou hypo if his numbers continue like this.
I'd also be interested to know what Elise and Bhooma think.

It's funny how scared I once was when he dropped so low before the shot. By now I know quite a lot about Fistuk so I'm feeling quite confident with his numbers and titrating around the edge.
I found the couple on Mindmyhouse.com It's a great solution. If you post well in advance you have a good chance to find the right people. But it remains to be seen how it work :) :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly, after your post I got lost at Mindmyhouse.com. :rolleyes: In my next life I become a pet sitter and will stay in all these beautiful places. :) So cool you found even someone who can handle a diabetic kitty!

I admire your confidence to handle lower numbers. With numbers like 54 at shot time I would have freaked out. I saw in his ss Fistuk was regulated so quickly. Good job!

It's a good idea, Heike :)
Thanks to the community here not only that Fistuk got regulated rather quickly but we also didn't have any ketones an hospitalisation episodes which is a huge relief!
