Hi I am new to all this, thank you to everyone who sent me info or welcome messages last time I left a message. I am very grateful. I still feel a bit unsure what to feed Bear on but at the moment I have put him back on his Whiskas in jelly and fresh turkey with a few sachets of Oh so fishy and a few of the Gormet Solitaire tins. The trouble is that the vet thinks he may have kidney problems and I read somewhere that low carb foods may not be suitable for him. Can anyone shed any light on this? Are there any problems with anything I am feeding him on? Also Bear is very keen on fish and I also read somewhere that he shouldn't be given too much fish. Does anyone know why this is? He seems a bit better since the insulin kicked in (touch wood), he is managing with 2 litter trays and seems less ravernous on a morning. Haven't started home testing him yet but watch this space.
