Hi!
After having spent more than 3 months with Caninsulin
, we have switch to Prozinc for one week.
But as you can see on the spreadsheet, Capoo metabolizes it also to fast.
So, with my vet, we decided to finally switch to Lantus one week ago.
At least, I don't have "black" anymore!!!
I did some test this week-end, but it seems that numbers don't go low enough.
I have to outline that the initial dose of 2 IU corresponds to 0.25 IU/kg as my cat weight is 8.2 kg.
I would be very pleased if somebody could have a look and explain me:
- why do numbers decrease in the morning until +2, then rise again?
- why do numbers increase up to +8 then decrease?
For the time being, I have absolutely no idea where are the onset and the nadir.
I am aware that some measurements are missing, but I had started Lantus when I was spending holidays at my parents, and I wonder if this could have had an impact on this glucose levels (Capoo is really used to this, but what about the traveling????)
Thanking you so much for your comments, they are all welcome!!!
