Well, low and behold for the first time since the great pancreatitis scare of Dec. 2014, we are at a PMPS of 189- I checked twice.
I am holding off feeding for about 15 minutes to check him again, but if he is still below 200, this will be our first time EVER shooting below 200.
I have plenty of test strips, high carb food and Karo syrup.
I am looking for advice about how to proceed.

Thanks!

That's what I was going to suggest if you can watch him all night. Make sure and get a +1 to see if he's going up or down.

Please post your +1 so others can help if you need it. If you keep your subject line updated throughout the night, others can give you advice.

we have a

award for first shooting below 200.

That's a pretty big drop....you might want to give him a snack of his regular low carb food and see if you can slow him down a little

And just FYI....if when you actually shot he was at 208, that's the number that should go in his PMPS cell, not the 189
