I went out yesterday and bought a glucometer, strips, lancets, treats...I'm sure you all know the drill. I was a very very bad hooman and lied to the pharmacist, saying it was for me. That way, with the purchase of 100 strips, I got the glucometer free. Anything for my Georgie!
This morning I did his first test since the vet called and said she had emergency today and would be unable to do his curve test until Monday. Argh! But it went so well! I may have poked a bit too hard with the lancet, definitely got a dirty look for it. But the blood beaded right up and it was ezpz from there. A couple of treats and some kisses on Georgie's nose, and I think I'm forgiven. This time, anyways. His AMPS was at 14.7. Not the best, but better than I had hoped
