First glucose test- AMPS 192. Do I still give Insulin this AM?

Good Morning!

Wilbur and I successfully did our first glucose test today to get an AMPS of 192. I plan on doing a curve today since I have never done one at home with him before. He is a 14.5 lb kitty (he is very tall lol) and he has been getting 2.5 units of lantus 2x a day. With a number like 192 for the AMPS do I still give him the 2.5 units this AM? Sorry... I am new at this when it comes to testing and dosing.

Hi Charm, how cute Wilbur is! I don't use Lantus so I can't advise re: dosage. You might do better to post this question on the Lantus board, where more Lantus users may see it sooner. :)
