Finding Lantus

We are having a hard time finding the Lantus Solorstar Pen. Our vet does not carry insulin and just uses regular pharmacies. She just saw the vet and was doing well. (Lost 6lbs with her diet change and is now ideal weight). And uses 0.5-1 unit 2x a day. But we can't find any pharmacies that will dispense just 1 lantus solo star pen. Has anyone had sucess with the Lantus discount card? We can't afford to buy 5 pens at once.
 
I called quite a few more pharmacies and found my local Osco will sell individual pens at $54.99. Way better than walmart!
 
Yeah! Glad you were successful at finding the Lantus Solostar pens for sale individually and at lower cost. :RAHCAT
 
You can also sign up for the Lantus Savings Card, bringing that cost down to $25 per pen. Good for up to 6 pens. I was even able to bring my Savings Card back into Walmart after I'd already purchased the pen and get the discount retroactively.
