Finally found a cat food he likes

Yay.. It seems I've finally found a cat food jasper likes besides whiskers. For months now I have been trying all the zoo plus foods and jasper just turns his nose up at them straight away. He's even so fussy that he won't eat rabbit that we've shot and skinned but when Herbert brings one in whole fur and everything he nicks it straight off him and scoffs it down. Anyhow I got my delivery of Macs today and he couldn't get enough of it. :cool: I'm not going to count my chickens just yet but am keeping fingers crossed nailbite_smile
 
Glad to hear that your cat Jasper is loving the Macs.

I remember those days of having my cat Wink only liking one flavor of cat food and that was the Fancy Feast Turkey and Giblets. I was always worried that he would decide he no longer liked that flavor and would refuse to eat anything at all.

It was such a relief to get him trying other flavors and deciding they were ok to eat. He still hates anything with fish in it, but he likes the Halo Liv-a-Little salmon treats. Go figure that one out for me please!
 
That's great news!

I've been fortunate that my cats like most of the food I give them. Though Brownie will refuse to eat certain flavors if she feels they've been in the rotation too long. Some fish ones and now I can't feed her a turkey one cause she just sniffs it and stares at me waiting for another food flavor to be put down. Luckily, if I leave it out of the rotation long enough, she'll start eating it again. Cats, huh?

I was jumping around like an idiot when he started eating it. The strange thing is, is it was beef and chicken heart flavour but jasper only likes fish flavoured food. I wonder if one day I'll figure out the way a cats brain works or always live in a perpetual state of confusion where my cats are concerned :lol:
