FF Allergy???

This is the second time she has gotten sick on a FF flavor. Not sure what the first one was, either chicken feast or beef feast.

This am she vomited 4-5 times after eating a few bites of chicken feast. She has eaten that with no problems before. I gave her a different can a little bit ago, we'll see what happens.

Could this be an indication of an allergy to the chicken feast? She eats the seafood ones with no problem.

It could be many things. It could be she's eating too fast, taking in too much air when she eats, etc. Do you watch her eat?

Have you tried another brand of chicken to see if it's the chicken or what. It becomes a process of elimination and it may or may not be chicken and rather how she eats that's the problem.

but if you're concerned it's FF, then try a different brand of food.

I don't think its the FF because she eats other flavors without incident. She is a grazer, will eat bout 1/4 to 1/2 then graze till its gone, she doesn't scarf it down.

I know other kitty's have pro blems with beef, just curious if it could be somethng in the chicken feast, she eats the roasted and chunky chickens (classic) without issues.

gots me a cornfuzzing kitty

She's not finiky but her system is

Some of my bunch threw up FF too. I think it may have been the beef one but i am not sure. I had bought several flavors and should have just tried one at the time to make sure there was no problem. I ditched all the FF and went to another kind. i bought probiotics to help the tummies with the food change when I went to another food. After a couple of days, no more vomit or loose poops.

sure it's possible that one flavor has an ingredient in it that just doesn't agree with the tummy. So, the good part is you can ditch that flavor and use something else.

If she's a grazer, I'm wondering if maybe she's getting too much air when she eats. a simple thing to try is to elevate the food dishes, so that kitty doesn't have to bend over to eat. I use shipping boxes and put a placemat on top of it, and that seems to help my girls eat easier.
