I am going over to my grandmothers today to try & set up some sort of something to try keeping her 2 feral cats warm this winter, any cheap suggestions?

Is she in snow? I take care of about 25 ferals at my boy's charter school. We are in Northern CA but it does get
really cold, I use old flannel sheets that I wash weekly. (something you might no be able to do) I just use
the plastic containers without the inserts and they work fine.

Remember if you set up plastic you need to put something on the top (I use bricks) or wedge it in between
something. As you saw in the previous pictures, another one can also be used as a feeding station. If you
have ants getting in the food/water, you can put baby powder in something larger than the bowls, then set
the food down on the powder, ants don't like baby powder!

Good luck, it is cold out there!

Thank you to each of you, all wonderful suggestions. We are not in snow yet & typically do not get a lot (we live in the Kansas City area)
Temps today were in the 50s, but set to get cold this weekend. Brrrrrr! Will do my best to get these love angels lined out!
