Hello,
My seven year old female cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I noticed she was squatting around the house and peeing small amounts. I put her in the bathroom and noticed her urine was slightly pink, had blood in it. I did bring her to the vet and they diagnosed her with diabetes and nothing shown as far as bladder issues. She has started insulin and has been on it for a few weeks now. She is still squatting and urinating around the house. I am just wondering if there is any information that anyone could offer me as to why this is still happening? Is she stressed out causing FIC, or is her diabetes not being regulated well enough yet? She is my baby, I bottle fed her because she was an orphan and I really don't want to lose her this early in her life. Thank you for your help.
