Having some issues here w/the cats (won't go into great detail though) and I was wondering if one or the other or both would be best.

I greatly appreciate opinions and suggestions!!

I have Feliway plugins in the living room and basement. I think it helps keep Erik (12 pounds) from jumping on and biting Emme (8 pounds). I use Rescue Remedy for stressful occasions - like when we have workers in the house, going to the vet and thunderstorms (Emme is terrified of thunder).

I hope this helps.

I've only tried Feliway to try to keep a group cat home calm and curb urinary issues. I didn't feel they worked on any of the six cats I had at the time. It got too expensive to refill all the different units I had to have all over the house to meet the square footage amount.

I've never tried Rescue Remedy. I volunteer at a cat adoption center that sells some retail cat products and I've heard mixed reviews as to which works better.

I use Feliway spray when we travel with our 5 cats. Spray a little in their beds, and it calms them down. I know in my case that before the Feliway, I had a bunch of stressed out kitties and a lot of noise, and after, they are calm and happy. No problems now.
