Has anyone here fed venison, lake caught fish or goldfish to their cats? I'm at a place that has feeder goldfish that Rhubarb may figure out how to catch.
There is fresh caught fish and venison here that I'd love to feed if healthy.
 
If it is cat food with venison in it, that is one thing. Just feeding venison meat is another. Cat's have requirements, like taurine, that are met in quality cat foods but are not met with just some kind of meat. While occasionally giving a cat fish is fine, fish is not a good choice for regular feeding. Catinfo.org has information on all of this if you want to read up on feline nutrition needs.
 
I kinda figured about the goldfish but always good to ask!

The other meat would just be given as snacks for a short time period.
