Usually I feed Loki then right away he gets his 1/2 unit of Lantis but today the phone rang , and he took off with my other cat. It's been over 1 hr since he ate should I give him his dose anyway? Or no?

Yes, as long as he's eating, give insulin. and if you want to play it safe, give him a snack too! I'm sure he'll enjoy that.

To get back to dosing at the regular time, change no more than 30 minutes earlier total, in 1 day.
Tha works out to 30 minutes earlier tonight and 30 minutes earlier tomorrow night
OR
15 minutes earlier tonight
15 minutes earlier tomorrow morning
15 minutes earlier tomorrow evening
15 minutes earlier the following day
With a cat that is very sensitive to dose changes, the latter works better.
