? FEED CAT TO COME UP NOW DOES NOT WANT TO EAT

I feed my cat to get him to come up, now he will not eat at his normal PMPS. I am going to keep trying to feed him for the next hour or so because he had a fur shot on PMPS 3/4/25. It has not been long since the FS so I will keep trying. If I could get him to eat a little would it be wrong to give him a small dose.

How much did you feed him before? Was it hard to get his numbers to come up? We always try to feed only a teaspoon at a time when trying to raise BG — to keep them hungry.

I’ve just looked at his spreadsheet. Why were you feeding to get his numbers to come up? He was only in the 80s. Those are really safe numbers. A little pf the normal LC would be the best way to handle it.

Yes, it was hard to get him to come up. He did not eat all of his food this morning and did not eat his +4 snack, so he was wanting to eat. When I feed him i tried to give him no more than 3 teaspoons. I had to feed him several times.

I just put out about 3 teaspoons of food and he ate it. If I can get him to eat a small amount, can I give him a small dose, so he gets some insulin.
