Well, I just dont know what is going on with this girl! The only thing I can think of it I put her Levemir in a very cool part of the house when not in use.. perhaps that is causing an issue since you are not supposed to refrigerate after starting a new vial. I may be to blame here.

Have moved it now.

We all refrigerate our insulin. It helps it to last longer.

If you are using the "pens", it does say not to refrigerate. That is because of the negative pressure in the pen and refrigeration can affect that pressure if you are using the "pen needles" to withdraw the insulin.

But, you should be withdrawing the insulin from the pen with an inulin syringe anyway, to get those tiny dose our kitties need. So, go ahead and put the insulin in your fridge.

I have no idea how low she got today as i was away all day, but at almost +11 she is 122.

This cat is rediculously grumpy. She hissed and carried on at me this morning, and is in the same mood this evening.

Another few minutes and we will do our PMPS and shot, and then , hopefully, I will head to bed.
