The FDMB Twitter account claims "AAHA issues statement for vets to discontinue PZI use in feline diabetes."

I'm trying to find this on the AAHA site and cannot.
The closest I can find is in their website is some stuff in their diabetes management guide about the suggestion of not using compounded PZI and maybe some other things but no broad remarks that PZI should be discontinued?

This guide also states that short needles should not be used [and U-100 needles should only be used with U100 insulin] so not sure how much I really believe in these guidelines.
Has anyone else heard anything about this? I'm surprised it would be announced on twitter and not in here or TT?
EDIT: I just noticed this is from 2009 - so old news I guess - I'm just noticing this.

And this "recommendation" is debatable... there are many that have used BCP insulin just fine.Although bovine PZI is available from compounding pharmacies, its use is not recommended because of concerns about production methods, diluents, sterility, and the consistency of insulin concentration between lots.
