If you haven't heard the great news, there's a FDMB fundraiser going on--a wonderful basket raffle (18 wonderful prizes in all!!!)--to help raise money for FDMB with chances to win prizes!!! Tickets are on sale until 4/7/13.

April 1-7th--TICKET PROMO:​

**DOUBLE TICKETS** Ticket amounts will be doubled! So therefore: 2/$2, 6/$5, 14/$10, 30/$15 & 50/$20!!!​

As of 3/31/13:

It's very easy to get so engrossed in the discussions of our cats that we forget that this site didn't just magically appear. Someone had to design it and get it up and running and that it cost money to keep it going. We owe that person and all of those that assist her a lot. I know there have been many diabetic cats whose lives have been extended and/or saved because of this site , mine for sure, and that is why I support any effort made to raise funds to keep it going, especially when I can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win awesome prizes for only $2....what a deal!

All together we can reach the $1,000 goal for OUR site. Your diabetic kitty will appreciate it!! :smile:

I've got my tickets!!!

And,if anyone wants to share the raffle with their FB friend and family, that would be awesome! Even if folks don't buy tickets, it's a great way to raise awareness about FD, and about how it is very treatable!

There are only 10 days left to buy a raffle ticket. Money raised as of this morning is $775. We're just $225 shy of the $1,000 goal. The prizes are wonderful and a ticket only costs $2 (or 3/$5, 7/$10, 15/$15 and 25/$25). I'm running a promo on tickets today:

The first 5 people to buy tickets gets double the number of tickets!!!​

***RAFFLE RESULTS****​



Below are two of the same picture of the raffle winners' board I made. As the tickets were drawn, each ticket was taped underneath the coordinating prize; one of the pictures is in color and the other picture is in black & white (easier to read)--if you don't already know how to do so: you can press down control the same time as the "+" sign on your keyboard to zoom in on the pictures. DH & I regret to inform all of you who were looking forward to the youtube video of the drawing that our try at recording the drawing did not work :sad: The iPad either ran out of memory or (he) did something wrong or who-the-heck-knows-what-happened (the recording started, then must of stopped and when viewed, there was a black screen and then a red screen) and we had no idea what to do if it was memory (short of deleting family recordings and pictures). We never even considered the memory and we probably should of had one of our kids come over and do the actual recording.

But anyways, here are the winners! Congratulations Winners! I will send you a PM or you can send me one (please include your mailing address). We really are all lucky winners because we have FDMB in our lives: a loving, caring Webmaster (Thank you, Rebecca), a second family, friendships, support, education, comfort and assurance :-D AND we raised $1,350!!!

Kat - I just wanted to say what a wonderful job you did on this raffle. I was unable to participate, but I'm thinking of some way I too can pay it forward. I have a few ideas, but I need to think them out a little more before I go for it. Congratulations again for a job VERY WELL DONE! :-D
