Does anyone know what the carbs for Fancy Feast CLASSICS Turkey and Giblets is? I can't find it on the food chart and I just fed it to Bubba thinking it was under 10%. Does anyone know?
 
Can't remember exactly, 3-4. It is on the food chart, but under miscellaneous for some reason

Okay, great Thanks Sharon, I got scared when I couldn't find it under FF. And the last thing I need on top of his moderate ketones is to give him HC food..........
 
He seems fine except he is starving and drinks lots of water. He is outside right now, I feel like if he is upset and his numbers stay up that can't really help.....I call the vet in about an hour to tell her the ketone reading I got. thanks for asking. How is Colin today?
 
Not sure about Colin. Numbers are high, as always, and he's eating good, but I wonder if something's wrong somewhere. He didn't wake me up the last few days. I don't know, wish they could talk(sometimes!). Also wish I had a good vet that I trusted, and money to give him better care. (Feeling down again today,can ya tell?!)

I know......Sharon, this is Sugar Dance is without a doubt maddening. I understand the emotional response all too well. I keep telling myself if he is eating and peeing, pooping, and preening and wanting to go outside he is good. But, I understand that when they change something about their normal that your radar goes up. Maybe he is just not as hungry anymore? I wish they could talk too.........Sending lots of hugs.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Lucy, yes, Bubba's one urine test from the vet came back as a +3. She was quite surprised given his numbers hanging in the yellows. She asked me to do a ketone last night and I got a MODERATE, yikes! I am waiting for her to call me back this morning. I increased him from 2.6 to 2.8 this AM. I am very nervous with the ketones. It's like a time bomb. Fortunately he is drinking lots of water to stay hydrated but he continues to lose weight. It's a real concern.
