Is anyone else having a hard time finding Fancy Feast Classic Pate?

My store no longer sells it and on amazon usually, it costs about $15 for a pack of 24 but since the coronavirus, it's $31. D:

Yes, any pet foods can be hard to come by, as people panic and stock up.
You may have to think of other options for food, and shop locally at other stores.
Think of out of the way places, farm and feed stores, Tractor Supply company or Agway, convenience stores or small grocery stores.

Not sure what stores are in your area of Arizona.
Do you have Friskies pate style foods available at the stores near you?
Those are a bit higher in carbs than the Fancy Feast pate style.
But it's better to have food on hand, and then adjust the insulin dose if the BG (blood glucose) levels run a bit higher.

p.s. You might want to think about adding a 2020 tab to the SS (spreadsheet) to track Grey's BG levels for this year.

Check different flavors of the Fancy Feast. Right now, the US Amazon still has chicken pate and the turkey and giblets in stock. The one you want will be restocked April 15th. (That's why it's so expensive, Amazon is out of that pack and third party sellers sell it for an arm and a leg.)

Fancy Feast flaked varieties are also under 10% carb, if you can find them. Some of the morsels are as well, check the food chart for the right flavors.

BTW, where did you find info about when it would be restocked?

You can also use 9Lives Meaty Pate variety pack if needed. 4-5% carbs, usually sells for $3.90 on Amazon, currently $4.99

I just got the Fancy Feast Classic Pate (poultry & beef ) 24 pack. $15 at the local grocery store.
Don't need it immediately now, but will need it sometime soon.
I FINALLY got some fresh chicken !! It will be a cat food making weekend.
Tractor Supply was really busy. People were loading their cart up.

It said on the Amazon listing, right under the price. Instead of "out of stock" it said "available April 15th." Now, you can still order it now, so I wouldn't wait until the 15th to do so. It might be out of stock by then.

Petsmart still carries the Fancy Feast brands. They are the company that bought out Chewy.com a few years ago. Thank goodness, THEY have not eliminated selling all foods with some ingredients that some "marketing folks" deemed inappropriate.

Petco's decision to eliminate all foods that contain artificial colors or flavors was a real blow to many folks. It was purely a marketing ploy. Now, we have to drive farther to find food for our finicky cats.:(

Check the Petsmart website. It shows individual flavors of Fancy Feast in stock at a store near me. Check for availability where you live.

You can not order for delivery on many pet food items right now. But you can do an on-line order and pickup in the store. Most of the "collections" with several different flavors are sold out.
