Good morning, Ezzie seems to be doing well off the insulin.
Weight is stable at 10.4#
Was 10.2 # at 1/15/17
She still is scratching to get out of her bedroom at night and going after my other cat. Have sentry calming collar on both and the feliaway calming room diffuser. Ez has not gotten the memo that these things were to alleviate scratching, etc.
Decision was made to keep her here if we can deal with the scratching by the door until we can find her a diabetic cat sanctuary or home.
I'm thinking if she seems stable, no litter box signs of something amiss, is going to once a week glucose checks what others do? I can also do spot checks on my days off? What to do with almost a full bottle of insulin? Opened 1/15/17. I thought about having a pen on hand in case she started needing insulin again.

Thanks again for your ongoing help and support.

Congrats on getting Ezzie OTJ. Most people go to weekly testing so they can catch it early if something makes the numbers go up. I hope things work out for finding her a home.

I'm happy that Ezzie is staying with you for the time being.
Did it not work out with the other foster?

Hope Ezzie gets to reading the memo about scratching the door, and that side of things settles down.

Her numbers are great.

I still test George once a day and he's been OTJ for9-10mths, but I'm a bit of a helicopter, and as George doesn't mind.......
I just want to feel that if something is amiss that I will be right on it.
