? Expired strips

Since I am horribly neurotic, I always do 2 tests with the same drop of blood. I have 2 relion confirm meters and use two different lot of strips at a time...just in case something is wrong with one of them. I think some lots run higher or lower, so I always use two. Did I say I really am neurotic when it comes to my girls.........geez...
Anyway, I ordered some strips when they announced they were discontinuing the micro and the strips. I received 3- 100 ct boxes due to expire in a month. I could have returned them, but since supply seemed to be limited I kept them. I used them along with newer strips at the same time for a couple months after the expiration and they were fine. Showed same numbers.
