Wondering how many have had to deal with hypoglycemia, was the cat symptomatic or just low numbers. What were the symptoms, severity, how did it resolve. My cat is having some strange behaviors at 70-80 a couple of times. I am just trying to see how often it occurs on the site, I know once is all it takes, not suggesting that it is not a critical issue. Just trying to get a feel for real life experiences, how did it happen, what precipitated, how hard was it to deal with? Any feed back? Thanks Patty

I know the clinical symptoms as posted:
MILD HYPOGLYCEMIA
Sudden ravenous hunger
Shivering
Weak or lethargic

MODERATE HYPOGLYCEMIA
Disorientation
Trouble with vision... bumps into furniture
Poor coordination, such as staggering, walking in circles or acting drunk
Changes in head or neck movements
Restlessness
Urgent meowing
Behavioral changes, such as aggressiveness

SEVERE HYPOGLYCEMIA
Convulsions or seizures
Unconsciousness

A couple of years ago it was evening treat time. Nala was nowhere is sight which is very unusual. I looked around and found her in a cat tube. I had to drag her out. She was disorientated and making strange noises. I tested her BG and she measure Lo (<20). She was hungry and I fed her some try. I also periodically syringed a mixture of Kero and canned food. She recovered fine @home and shortly went OFJ.

Trying to get an idea of how often it occurs and what happens. I am sure there are others that are interested. Thanks for the input. Glad Nala came through without serious problems. Have dealt with many bean hypo patients, not any cats, hope I never have to with Tigger.
